Members Day
Members Day, Thursday 16th June 9.30-5.30.
The purpose of Members Day is
· To create an opportunity for members to think about the organisation as a whole- or to explore our ‘ISPSO-ness’
· To integrate new members
· For the Board to account to the members for its work
This year, Clare Huffington, ISPSO President, is working with Mary Burgess, Andrew Harrison and Judy Levy to create a programme for the morning activity which will allow the first 2 purposes to be explored and worked with. In the afternoon, chaired by Clare, the Board will report on its work; new Board members and the new President-Elect will be introduced; and the winner of the 2011 Bridger Prize will receive the award.
Programme outline for Members Day 2011:
A specific purpose of members' day will be to link the theme of the Symposium, "Regeneration in Organizations" with members' thoughts, associations or visions of ISPSO in the future; of our own practice and how it might develop; and the conditions in our organisational ecology that will foster regeneration.
The aim is to create spaces where members will be able to meet one anothers’ needs for various forms of interaction (as indicated in the survey findings). We want to encourage new relationships between long-standing members who may not know one another well; between new members and the rest of us; and between well established members, who might be new to an annual meeting.
In relation to regeneration & organisations & ourselves, we will explore:
• Who we are?
• What inter connects us?
• What do we think and what are we doing?
We are expecting around 60 people to be involved.

Discussions in 3s 10-11.15am
Experiential activity in groups of 7-9 11.30 – 12.20pm
Lunch 12.30 – 1.15pm
Award of Bridger Prize1 2011 1.15 – 1.30pm
Plenary discussions 1.30 – 2.20pm
ISPSO Business Meeting 2.30 - 4.20pm
Including:
− Introduction of Board, including new Board members and new President Elect
− Reports from President, Executive Director and Webmaster, Secretary-Treasurer and Sub- Committees
− Regional Meeting reports
− News on Annual Meetings in 2012 and 2013
